Merry Christmas

Just dropping by to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!!! I hope y’all got all the presents and special memories you wanted. 🙂

Here’s an exclusive short snippet from Stolen to help celebrate the day.

Michael’s apartment was decorated in clean, modern fashion with hardwood floors, white carpet, and white paint on the walls. The spacious living room branched into two other rooms. To the left, a spiral staircase led upstairs. The fireplace, more for décor than heating, was central to the living room. A widescreen HDTV was mounted over the mantle. A sliding glass door opened to a balcony with a great view of the city below.

Michael walked into the kitchen and pressed a few buttons on the espresso machine. “The coffee will be ready soon.” He came into the living room and slid open the door to the balcony.
Being in his presence, Regina felt more aware of her body than she had in months. “I never guessed you would have such a place,” she said, looking out over the city.

“Yeah, it’s great. I like it here.” He turned to face her and smiled. “Although it’s nothing compared to the view I have in front of me.”

Heat caressed her cheeks despite the cool autumn air, and she decided to change the subject. “I wonder how many others are out there like us. Today I’ve met you and then the bank robbers. It’s been weeks since I’ve met anyone new with powers and abilities. Just feels a little odd.” Regina let her gaze drift over him. The button-up shirt hugged his chest, and those pants… They almost made her wish she had X-ray vision.

Michael came up behind her, and his hands cradled her shoulders. He brushed a kiss against her neck near her jawline, and then another lower down her neck. His lips caressed down toward her shoulder, drawing a sigh from her lips.

She reached up behind her and sank her fingers into his soft hair. Her fingertips massaged his head in gentle circles. Maybe she was ready for this.
