She climbed onto the hammock and gazed at the trees above her. The hammock swung gently, lulling her into the relaxed state she so desired. She closed her eyes and sighed softly.

The dream world rose up to greet her. The sound of dry leaves crunching underfoot forced her back to alertness. Her eyes shot open to see a tall, dark-haired man staring at her.

Quick note to set it up. This is the sequel to Jungle Heat. It follows the secondary characters, Rubia and Kyle.

Rubia Costa tied down her hammock in a peaceful spot where she went to get away. She’d told no one of this spot, and yet she was within yelling distance of her people. Help would come if the need arose.

She didn’t dare venture far from her village. But these days, her village wasn’t as calm and mundane as it once had been. So far, she wasn’t sure whether that was good or bad.

Six Sentence Sunday 6

Ha! Look at that. My sixth Six Sentence Sunday. Isn’t that a tongue twister? Feel free to check out my previous entries here.

This week’s six continues where we left off the last time. Ian and Hannah had a great kiss, but it’s time for them to get to work.

Ian grinned and reached for his white towel. “I’ll go hop in the shower real quick.” He wiped off his face and hung the towel around his shoulders as he sauntered away.

Hannah’s life had been a roller coaster after reuniting with Ian, her once ex-boyfriend. Now he was her partner in their private investigation company, Hacked Investigations, which specialized in technology-related crimes. The clientele so far had kept them busy, with common requests that involved backtracking various network intrusions to their point of origin and leaving the rest to the customers.

Six Sentence Sunday 5

Quick note to set it up. Hannah Franklin is a private investigator, and Ian Bradley is a technomage and now her partner (romantic and professionally).

Ian stood and then crossed the room to her. His hands cradled her neck, and he pulled her in for a warm kiss. His lips brushed hers, and she opened her mouth to him, allowing his tongue to stroke hers and fan the burning flames within her body.

Hannah gently pushed away after a moment. “I said we would be on our way.” She raked her gaze over his firm, sweat-slick torso.

Six Sentence Sunday 4

Hi there everyone! It’s been a few weeks since I’ve done this, and I’ve really missed it. So this week, I’m making sure to dive back into Six Sentence SundayClick here to view my previous entries.

Quick note to set it up. This book is from my latest release just out this week called Savage Bytes. It’s book two in my cyberpunk romance series, Hacked Investigations. It’s probably better to read them in order. Hannah Franklin is a private investigator, and Ian Bradley is a technomage and now her partner (romantic and professionally).

Hannah Franklin froze in the doorway of Ian Bradley’s weight room. Ian lay shirtless on the bench as he pressed the bar into the air over his muscular chest. With each rep he did, the muscles in his chest rippled deliciously. She licked her suddenly dry lips and cleared her throat.

His gaze caught hers, and he smiled. He rested the weight on the stand. “Hey, is everything okay?” He sat up and wiped his palms on his khaki cargo shorts.

Six Sentence Sunday 3

Hi there everyone! Thanks for the wonderful comments the past two weeks. I very much appreciate them. Here’s a continuation from last week’s Six Sentence Sunday. Click here to view the previous entries.

Quick note to set it up. Adara is an Amazon warrior princess, and Rei is a weretiger biologist on assignment in the Amazon Rainforest.

All she’d known of the world had flipped upside down since meeting him.

Rei cocked an eyebrow, watching her. His gaze brushed over her, stoking the strange warmth in her belly.

Adara couldn’t stop the unfamiliar heat rushing up her neck, reaching her cheeks. Her eyes lingered on his naked human form. His tan skin captured the moonlight that filtered through the very old trees.

Six Sentence Sunday 2

I really enjoyed Six Sentence Sunday last week, so I’m back for more! This is my heroine Adara, Amazon warrior princess, contemplating Rei, the hero, in his human form. She met him when he was in his weretiger form. It follows shortly after last week’s Six Sentence Sunday post.

Even naked, he had a sophisticated, intelligent aura about him. He was much more handsome than the local Indians. They didn’t have the air of confidence and grace he possessed. They bore a more savage image of life, like her people.

She shook her head, ridding herself of those thoughts. For if they were right, she had no business associating with him.

Six Sentence Sunday 1

Hey everyone! I’ve decided to try out something new. So, here’s goes! These six sentences are when Adara see Rei in human form for the first time.

Her words and anger stuck in her throat as she realized a tiger no longer stood before her. The beast had been replaced by a man. A man with dark brown eyes and a sensual mouth. His large build shocked her. Her kind was tall, yet he towered over her. The sight of him stole her breath.
