Weekly Wrap Up
I hope everyone is having a Happy Friday! And an awesome Memorial Day weekend (or a great weekend period for those not in the US)!
This week hasn’t quite been as productive as last week. I finished reading Storm Front by Jim Butcher… wow! I loved it! I’ve also begun editing the novel I’ll be pitching at RWA’s National conference, so I don’t have any word count progress.
Yeah, I’m kind of all over right now. haha There’s just so many things I’d like to work on! But I think I’ve figured out what I’ll be tackling this upcoming week.
- Naming Victorian Characters: First and Surname — This article was great since I have a Victorian era character I was trying to find a last name for.
- Laurell K. Hamilton on Border’s Babel Clash — She’s their guest this week, and she’s posted some pretty cool blogs.
- Brùnaidh—the Scottish Brownie — Dawn Marie Hamilton did a very informative blog at Castles & Guns on the Scottish Brownie.
Have any interesting links you’ve found? Let me know! How have you progressed through this week?
I started out strong last week but the weather was grey and miserable so by the end of the week I was doing more reading than writing. 🙂
Other than blog posts, I've been doing more editing than writing lately anyway. One of my own books and a book for someone else. Once I'm done with the edits I hope to concentrate on a couple of other WIPs.
I know what you mean. I've been doing more reading than writing/editing recently, which is good in some ways, but not as productive as I'd like. =) I've also gotten scrambled by trying to focus on too many things at once. think I need to concentrate better. lol
Thanks for the comment, C R!
